The police has arrested two Romanian nationals, who used to withdraw money fromATMs using cloned plastic cards.The accused disclosed that they visited India through Nepal and procured cloned cards from their associates. They hid their face with mask, helmet, cap, goggles, etc.Further investigation is in progress in this connection. and withdrew money using the cloned plastic cards. Thereafter, they identified unmanned ATM booths in Delhi. Probe revealed that most of the unauthorised withdrawals had taken place from ATMs at isolated locations and at odd hours. Accordingly, CCTV footages of the alleged ATMs were obtained and analysed. Subsequently they converted the Indian currency into foreign currency and fled from India via Nepal.
